Dear Friend,

Fall is coming and, in some houses, it might already be here with the beginning of a new school year. It is likely that this year feels very different than past. In the moments that feel hard, uncertain and different it is SO important to cling to a healthy routine to keep the peace and keep moving forward. 

Healthy routines help us find a sense of control and solace amid times that feel crazy and out of control. Small routines make BIG impacts. Here are some fun ideas to set routines into motion:

• Take a family walk every night after dinner OR a solo walk to clear your mind. If you have your family with you ask every member the favorite moment in the day or what brought them joy! 
  

• Write down five things you are thankful for before you even get out of bed. A piece of scratch paper and a pen are easy to add to any nightstand. Try adding 3 long, big deep breaths too! 
  

• Commit to keeping your water bottle with you ALL day so you continue to fuel your body with water. Water cleanses your body and your mind of toxins! 
  

• Set aside a few minutes to read 10 pages of a good book every day. Just ten and you will feel like you have accomplished something big and you will feel in control of your mind and time! 
  

• Drink your Calibr8 and Trin8ty first thing every morning! 

Controlling a few things in your day will give you a giant sense of accomplishment and serenity to get through these different times. Incorporate these healthy routines for your kiddos too---they are also feeling different. Feeling good mentally and physically can change your whole world around!
