I think it is safe to say that we are READY for warmer and longer days! We have seen plenty of rain and even snow (!!) here in Southern California, and Spring cannot come fast enough! Let’s not take for granted the extra daylight and warm sunshine on our skin in the coming months. As we approach the changing of the seasons, let’s vow to make one small habit change for ourselves. Maybe it’s drinking a glass of water right when you wake up or fixing your CLAR8TY Drink first thing or take a 20-minute walk at lunchtime. Perhaps we move our cell phones out of our bedrooms and invest in an old-school alarm clock. Or we could make a promise to ourselves to steep a warm mug of tea before bed each night. Take this time of transition to create sunnier days for yourself with one small lifestyle change!
My goal for Spring is to stick to my 30-30-30 habit. This is something I heard years ago that has always been a benchmark in the back of my mind for a successful day: 30 minutes of movement, 30 minutes of reading, and 30 minutes of quiet time—whether it be prayer, meditation, stillness, or reflection. On days when I prioritize this, I feel strong and steady in my path.
