Hi Friend,

Happy almost-summer here in the Northern Hemisphere (It's quite warm in the SF Bay Area, and we need to be aware that it's fire weather!)

And hello to everyone heading into winter in the Southern Hemisphere.

Do you love to learn?

I'm guessing - yes!

Do you have a specific writing challenge or problem you're aiming to solve this month?

Take a sec to focus on it.

And then ask, once you solve your challenge the way you want, what will having that do for you?

Step into that and go deep to the heart of what that will be like for you -- once you solve the problem or challenge.

Yes! You got this.

Or maybe you frame it as a goal to achieve or to have.

Awesome.

Picture your goal or ultimate resolution clearly.

Add in sound, feelings, taste and smell, and touch -- as needed.

Get sensory.

Bring your whole self -- all the parts of you that want to be a part of that new way of being.

Step into that goal as reality.

Yes! You're there -- rewiring your brain so that it can see, and hear, feel, taste, smell, and touch, the new reality emerging, arriving, being the new norm in your life.

Congrats!

Now come back to now.

And I invite you to check out these 2 upcoming events and see if they will nourish your goals.

First off, I'm excited to be a speaker in Rhonda Douglas's summit soon: Book Finishers Summit.

If you want to level up your writing craft, get clarity on your story world and characters, this summit could be a great fit.

I've worked hard to make friends with marketing my fiction -- books that came from the heart.

So, I'm excited and honored to be a teacher in the upcoming Women in Publishing Marketing Summit -- this Friday and Saturday.

I love their mission statement:

The WIP Marketing Bootcamp is not a passive summit but an engaged experience built for authors who want to sell more books AND for the publishing professionals that help them do it.

If you’re ready to market in a more focused, professional way, this paid summit is designed to help you build a marketing plan that fits your life and goals and get clear on what to do next.

Because I am a heart-centered, organic novelist, led by my values (not the whims of the algos), I've created a marketing foundation that reflects that focus.

Come join me for my live and interactive (yes, leave with work done!) workshop on Friday on:

Heart-Centered Marketing: Build a Values-Aligned Visibility System
