Writing is a Verb. What is your verb?

Hi Friend,
Welcome, new Creativity Sparks newsletter subscribers! Here we focus on inspiring and motivating content to help you write, edit, and market your novel on your terms. We also focus on actionable resources to help you create the change you desire.
♥
When you're working on your book alone, it can feel like the rest of the world is far away and you are disconnected from it — disconnected from all your readers, from your support team, from your fans.

But actually, you are part of the world, and part of many interconnected systems.

And your work has the potential to make a big impact on your readers and potential readers.

As an experiment, I invite you to sum that impact down to one verb.

Your impact spreads far beyond the pages of your story. You may even recognize this verb in the way you go about your daily life.

For some writers, it's to empower, entice, seduce, or provoke.

I stand for peace and for freedom. I stand with the people of the Ukraine. A great great grandmother was from Odessa, a great great grandfather was from Chernivitsi, both immigrating to the United States in the 1880s. I also have a Russian Jewish great grandfather who immigrated to the U.S. in the early 1900s. And most of my other ancestors were from other parts of Eastern Europe -- the area being most affected by the over 10 million people fleeing the war zone.
