In your fiction writing life, what is the difference that makes the difference so you can head toward publication?
For each of us, the answer is probably different.
But the number one stumbling block I see lots of writers face in my over 20 years helping writers is the fear of letting anyone else look at their work, and thereby learn to:
Yes, it's scary to have our work critiqued.
Yes, it's a growth process and therefore can be a little painful.
No, you don't have to go through this stage alone.
In fact, the beauty of learning how to be a published writer is that you get to do it in community.
The difference that made the difference for my writer's life is that once I committed to being a writer, I joined a writers group.
I have been in a critique group ever since -- over 27 years.
Not the same critique group the whole time -- lol. But I have been in my current critique group for about 20 years.
Anyway, that is why I was super excited to be offering this Next Step Writers Group to you that Julia is running.
So, if you'd like to join us now is your time. The applications close on Sunday, August 31st, 9 PM Pacific/12 AM Eastern.

We still have 6 spots left.
We're limiting this group to 12 people so that everyone can get the in-depth support they need.
