Hi Friend,

I'm finalizing my 4th edit to Janey's book 5 (first 4 books here) so I can give it to my critique partners, gearing up to teach 2 workshops later this month - see below for details under Upcoming Events, and I'm planting seeds for more projects for later in the year.

Including a movie! I dropped my first hints here on Instagram.

How are you doing? What projects are you cooking up for the year?

And do you have a word or theme or focus for 2024?

Mine is emerge / emergence.

For me, these words are about paying attention to what is emerging from the unknown and being present for that, as in doing the creative work, showing up for the creative work, being open to the mystery of it all.

It's not always easy when I want things to go certain way - lol. So emergence for me is also about letting go of control.

I'd love to hear your word or theme or focus!

Hit reply and let me know! And share your projects for the year.

Now on to the podcast!

In this week's episode, I share -

  • My Top 6 Favorite Episodes from the podcast in 2023 (and one from 2022)

  • How you can support the podcast

  • A special gift to help with world-building in your story
