Thank You! For Our Creativity, For Our Yes

November 22, 2018
Oakland, CA

Hi Friend,
A Happy Thanksgiving to those of you in the States, and a Happy Creative Thursday to all of you!

Thank you for your creativity, for your stories, for your presence in my life.

Thank you for the life that flows through us all.

Thank you for the books you create.

Thank you for showing up for the mystery, the intangible, and the struggle to put them into words.

Thank you for showing up for our courses, workshops, and talks!

And thank you for the rain!

It finally rained here in Northern California, cleaning our skies of the forest fire smoke that had hovered for almost two weeks.

E. E. Cummings expressed gratitude well...

This excerpt from his poem “i thank You God for most this amazing” I share below is special to Ezra and I because we chose it to be read at our wedding. "For our Yes" is inscribed on my wedding ring.
i thank You God for most this amazing day:

for the leaping greenly spirits of trees and a blue true dream of sky;

and for everything which is natural which is infinite which is yes
Have a happy and creative day*! Happy writing!

Best,
Beth
