| One small step today... 💟

| | If you work on your book a little bit at a time on a regular basis (for me it's generally 4-6 times per week), eventually you'll finish it.
This is what I tell myself as I finish another round of edits on my bridge short story (a story between novels). The story is better after this latest round of edits, but it still needs work. So, I need to make space to restart the revisions and I need to figure out some things about the story.
To do that, I ask myself questions about the theme and the decision that triggers my main character's realization. (Among other things.)
I trust that asking myself these questions will generate answers from wherever creativity comes from. I'll generate the answers by free writing. I love free writing. I empty my mind and heart on the page and discover my truth at the edge of the cliff of risk.
