October 30, 2015

Hi Friend,

I don't usually send my CreativitySparks (tm) newsletter so late at night, but life has been out of the ordinary lately.

To refresh your memory and to restate who I am: I am a novelist, creativity coach for writers, and book midwife. I hold your hand while you push.

Welcome to our Creativity Sparks community!

Today I share about our November course, Write Your Novel, because we start Sunday, Nov. 1st, and our first weekly group call is Tuesday, November 3rd. It's for people who want extra support while writing their first draft during the intensity of National Novel Writing Month. Hope you can join us!

But first, a summary of what's in this newsletter:

Personal Note from Beth

I'm in the final edits of A Cupcake Christmas, my newest magical contemporary romance, which goes on sale December 25th. It's on sale now exclusively at iBooks for $0.99, if you want to get a copy at this price.

Also, I'm looking for a few fresh pair of eyes on it. If you'd like to read it for content and pesky typos, please hit reply and let me know. I'd love feedback by Nov. 7th. It's a 43,000-word short novel.

I had a fabulous time presenting on branding for novelists at the Emerald City Writers' Conference last Saturday. If you'd like the handout for that, I'll have it available soon for all newsletter subscribers. I really enjoyed being a mild-mannered conference attendee that turned into a dynamic speaker in front of a room of over 50 people. Thank you everyone for coming and sharing during the class!

I'm coming into a new phase of my business that has been mulling under the surface for the last nine-to-ten months...

The best way I can describe it is holistic, global, and affirming of all the parts of you, the writer who brings all of herself or himself to the work.

I'm bringing forth all my intuitive training and background, my heart-centered neurolinguistic programming (or patterning), my love of movement, and grounding into the forefront of my work with novelists.

As I've been doing from the beginning of my business, I will bring in all my lived experience as a novelist with nine novels written and six novels or novellas published, and more in the works.

On to sharing about our November 2015 course.
