Happy Holidays!

December 22, 2017
Oakland, CA

Hi Friend,

I hope you’re well and writing. Or editing or promoting or daydreaming your next books. Or resting and feeding the creative well. It’s all a part of the creative process.

I'm editing my science fiction novel and getting pages ready for my early reader team.

I'm also studying screenplay writing in preparation to completing my TV pilot based on my Henrietta The Dragon Slayer series characters. My resource is 20 Things You Must Know to Write a Great Screenplay by Rick Reichman.

Lastly, I'm watching lots of movies to feed the creative well.

Specifically, I've been binge-watching all the Star Trek movies and Murder, She Wrote episodes. And I look forward to watching The Lego Batman Movie and Transformers: The Last Knight soon with Ezra.

That’s my mid-month check in! What is yours? Feel free to email me and let me know how your writing is going.

Lastly, I’d like to wish you a Happy Holidays, Happy New Year!, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Solstice, and Happy Hanukkah! (Did I miss anything?!)
