Dear Friend,

This week enjoy an article by Ezra Barany on helping you decide what to write. Reply with questions or post on the blog. We're here to help you.

***

Many authors are plotters and think an excellent way to start a book is to outline every scene first, where other authors are pantsers, writing from the seat of their pants, and believe an excellent way to start a book is to put their characters in a situation and write what happens on the fly.

The reality is, there are other items to consider first before either plotting or pantsing. In the Venn diagram, you’ll notice three sections. Let’s walk through each section and determine what your sweet spot is.

Have a Happy and Creative Week!

And thanks for showing up for yourself and doing your creative work!

All our best,
Beth & Ezra
