A New Commitment June 4, 2015 Hi Friend,  It's a new month. I like beginnings. I feel that a new month brings me an opportunity to set new goals.  Each month I do. It's also my birthday month, so it actually is the start of my solar year. I feel a new commitment arising. My focus is on listening to my creative flow and asking myself, "Where is the point of greatest aliveness?" Thank you Chris Zydel of CreativeJuicesArts.com for this awesome and powerful question. It is the questions you ask that can spark the change you want in your life. In our Painting from the Wild Heart class each week, she asks us that and then say, "Let's go paint." Our only job is to show up to the paper and paint what moves us. I've been painting on Monday nights with Chris and the other ladies for eight months.  Her wisdom and my learnings have been seeping into my life, and now a new and clear desire arises. The trust and flow I experience on Monday nights I have vowed to bring into my daily and every day life. That is my new commitment: To listen to my creative flow and ask where is my point of greatest aliveness. To feel what comes up and discern. This is my focus and my intention. I'm focused on teaching the June "Plan Your Novel" class. There are still a few spots if you'd like to join us. I'm almost done with a new romance novella about Florian, a Christmas elf, and Kate, proud owner of Kate's Kupcake Kart. (Too many K's?) This story is called A Cupcake Christmas (working title).
