For those of you in southern climes with uncomfortable heat, make this little Felt and Twig Snowman to remind you of cooler times. For those of you in the colder north, well, you can't change the weather, so make this little guy in celebration of the snow. Fun and easy!

This paper 8-point star adds a pretty accent under a votive candle. But, the design could just as easily be pretty and unique coasters. Just add a clear self-adhesive (e.g., Contact Paper) on both sides of the star to seal the paper. Celebrate the different holidays using themed papers - hearts for Valentine's, shamrocks for St. Paddy's, bunnies for Easter - and the list goes on...

Pillows add a soft and pretty touch. (Well, that is until the four-legged children look for the hidden squeaky.) This pretty woven ribbon pillow uses a Shaker-style weave with two colors of sheer ribbon. Grosgrain ribbons would be just as pretty and sturdier too. Yes, there's some sewing involved, but it's "sew easy."

Add a framed doily for an interesting decoration to display on a wall or in an easel on a bookcase or wherever. Use a doily, a piece of fabric (or paper) for a contrasting background, and a frame to make a quick and easy decoration.
