Sailing, makes me think of the Christopher Cross song.
But, in this case, it's a fun and easy sailboat.
Simple materials, simple tools and easy steps can quickly become a regatta.

Make it with balsa wood or with foam core poster board, either will float.
Use simple white paper for a sail or add colorful stripes.
It's inexpensive and when the sailboat gets waterlogged from too much sailing, just make another.
Of course - have fun!
Make one or several for competitions and let the little boats help you think of warmer weather.
