Our Constitution Party Candidate, former congressman Virgil Goode from Virginia, and his VP running mate, Jim Clymer from Pennsylvania, continue to campaign around the country. Virgil is gaining a lot of media attention including interviews on the John Stossel Show and the Lawrence O'Donnell Show. For party supporters who have never written a letter to the editor, now would be a good time to write a letter to mention Virgil Goode will be a write-in candidate for president in Texas. Many newspapers print sample ballots and articles about the presidential race and refer to so-called "voter guides" but seldom, if ever, mention write-in candidates. In a country with "free" elections, write-in candidates deserve to be mentioned, not totally ignored.
We don't expect Virgil Goode to affect the outcome of presidential race in Texas. However, we do want to point out Texas citizens have another choice. A very Goode choice. So please consider writing a letter to the editor and mention Virgil Goode is a qualified write-in candidate for president. Virgil's website is www.goodeforpresident2012.com.
On Tuesday night October 23, at 8:00 pm CST, there will be a debate with four minor party presidential candidates including Virgil Goode. The debate can be viewed live at www.freeandequal.org and moderated by Larry King.
