Good day,

"Now is the time for an evolutionary upwising - because it is too late to do it sooner" -- Swami Beyondananda

1. It’s uplifting to start the day with a laugh, and Swami Beyondananda (Steve Bhaerman) is a master at making us laugh while delivering insightful and useful messages for our time. You may want to bookmark his video page for those days when you feel like throwing in the towel:
https://wakeuplaughing.com/videos.php

Swami is embarking (woof-woof) on a two-month journey to the East and back with scheduled stops in Boulder, Omaha (or as we call it OM-Aha!) ... Red Oak, Iowa ... Madison, Wisconsin ... Ann Arbor and Detroit ...New York City, Connecticut, and Princeton, New Jersey ... Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Reston, Virginia ... Fort Worth, Texas, Fort Collins, Colorado ... with more coming on board. If you live in any of these places or have friends who do, send them to the shows and show up yourself.

“It's good karma. The laugh you save may be your own.”

2. Another en-lightening bit of media is Greg Tamblyn’s feel-good, light, funny, meaningful music and songs. Get some of his music and you’ll feel better, guaranteed!

3. September 21st International Day of Peace. This year is the 20th Anniversary of The UN Declaration and Program of Action on a Culture of Peace, adopted by the United Nations in 1999, The Declaration and Program of Action serves as a reminder of the importance of making Peace Day every day. The theme for the 20th Anniversary Observance is: "Empowering and Transforming Humanity." Participate or place your activities on the Peace Map for the 20th Anniversary, as well as for what you will be doing for the International Day of Peace (Peace Day) on 21 September.

4. Saturday, September 14, Finding Freedom as an Empath: 4 Stages of Emotional Awakening for Sensitive Souls, Free Online Event (recorded if you can’t make it live). Bestselling author, coach, and self-proclaimed sensitive soul Tree Franklyn will share an easy 4-step process to help you identify your difficult emotions, understand them as energies, and allow them to flow through, and even strengthen, you — so you can experience your sensitive soul as the amazing gift it truly is.

5. Tuesday, October 29th, 9 AM – 6 PM, 2019 Positive Peace Conference, Stanford University. Join the Institute for Economics & Peace and the Stanford University Center for Latin American Studies to share ideas with internationally renowned leaders from the public, private, academic, philanthropic and civil society sectors and explore new ways of creating and sustaining peace.
