The NYBL offers an unprecedented level of competition, organization and exposure, as many of the nation’s top middle school and high school media outlets cover the events (i.e. Prep Insiders, Middle School Hoops, LOC Hoops Report, 8 Eye Media, SLAM Magazine etc. ). In terms of its mission, The League is designed to improve grassroots basketball at the middle school and high school levels by providing a challenging and organized circuit series for elite boys’ travel clubs in grades sixth through ninth. And starting in 2018, NYBL will feature an elite high school circuit for 16U and 17U travel teams. The environment of the N.Y.B.L. is one that encourages team development. The overall experience is one that simply cannot be duplicated in youth basketball. This year the NYBL has partnered with NSID to protect the integrity of its events. The NYBL has joined the countless other organizations taking steps to help ensure all players are age/grade verified. NSID is very excited to work with the NYBL and we look forward to accomplishing great things in 2019.

Youth sports are meant to be fun wholesome and healthy activities for young children. Unfortunately, todays youth sports landscape has lost touch with this idea. The youth athletes of today face many issues, one of them being pressure from there own parents. Every parent wants what is best for there child, some parents take this too far and attempt to control every aspect of their child's athletic carrier. Yelling at referees, confronting coaches, bad mouthing other players. All of these actions cause more harm then good to your child's athletic carrier. Youth Sports Parenting: Let the Athlete Set the Goals

National Sports ID helps protect the integrity of youth sporting events and organizations. We believe that this concept extends beyond age/grade verification. We believe young athletes everywhere are entitled to a fair and encouraging athletic experience. A big part of athletics is goal setting. What do you want to accomplish this practice, this game, this season? These are questions we should teach our young athletes to ask them selves. Instead we find today far to many parents and coaches setting the goals for the players. They tell athletes where they should be, what they need to accomplish etc.. That is not what youth sports are about. We believe there is no better platform to teach children about life then through athletics. In life if we want our children to be successful they must understand how to set goals for them selves. NSID was created by AAU coaches. We understand the issues facing coaches when it comes to team organization. One of which is getting all your parents to register for events. Thats why with NSID you can do all the work for your parents. If you are a Coach or an Admin that wants to create your player accounts and get them verified instead of having your parents do it you can. You can now create player accounts, upload all documents and even make the payment for your players.
