Subject: The problem with technical analysis

I got this email the other day:

****

Hey Brett!

I've always thought the idea of being a trader was great. I could work from home, call my own shots and be able to scale my income once I'd figured it all out.

But it's bee way harder to figure out than I thought.

I had great plans to learn and practice 1 hour a day until I was comfortable with what I was doing.

Unfortunately, life happened and I can't manage even a few consistent minutes a day.

I still want to trade, but I'm sick and tired of trying to learn technical analysis and everything else that goes along with trading.

I've come to the place where I want someone else come up with trade ideas, and then I can decide whether or not I'm going to follow them.

Sincerely,
Burnt out in Tampa

I get a lot of emails like this.

And while learning technical analysis and the ins & outs of trading is great - it takes an INCREDIBLE amount of time and practice to get good at it.

So my advice has always been this: unless you eat, sleep and breathe the market... leave it to someone else.

Just sign up for someone elss' alerts and check them out. It will help you get a feel for whether you really want to trade on your own.

Lately we've been doing great, closing 8 winning trades last week and 6 so far this week.

Of course, thats not a guarantee that this will always happen (because as we know the only guarantees in life are death and taxes) but we've been pretty excited seeing these quick payoffs recently.

I hope you're having a great day!
