Ithaca's Member Supported Independent Movie Theater
Feb 4, 2014

Greetings, Cinemapolitans!

The groundhog saw his shadow, and that means at least six more weeks of award-nominated films at Cinemapolis! Beginning this Friday we'll be screening another of the nominees for best foreign-language film, The Broken Circle Breakdown. This gritty drama sets romance and heartbreak to the tune of American Bluegrass....in Belgium. Great visuals and fantastic music! Better brush up on your Flemish...

Speaking of awards, Hollywood's big night is just around the corner. Don't you want to spend it with your cinema-loving friends at your favorite non-profit independent movie theater? Reserve your spot at Cinemapolis's annual Gala Event - "And the Winner Is..." On the evening of March 2nd, from 7 pm until best picture is announced, you can enjoy great food, great drinks, and the big awards on the big screen.

All proceeds go directly supporting our mission to act as a community center where the art of film used to enrich people's lives, grapple with and illuminate contemporary issues, and, of course, to entertain. Find more details and get tickets at Cinemapolis.org.

See you at the movies!
