| We're heading toward the Thanksgiving holiday with ONE new opener hitting our screens on Friday:
- Actor/director Joel Edgerton adapts the timely true-life tale, Boy Erased. Based on the memoir by Garrard Conley, the film stars Academy Award nominee Lucas Hedges (Manchester by the Sea) as Jared, the son of a Baptist preacher who's sent to a gay conversion program. Nicole Kidman and Russell Crow round out a stellar cast as Jared's parents. Stephen Farber of the Hollywood Reporter calls it "a richly humanistic, emotionally searing drama that sticks in the memory."
