DUE TO THE POPULARITY OF OUR CURRENT SLATE OF AWARD WINNING MOVIES, EXPECT LONG LINES.
WE ADVISE ARRIVING 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO SHOWTIME.

Greetings Cinemapolitans!

We're prepping for the annual "And the Winner Is..." Gala to celebrate all of our Academy Award nominated films, so SAVE THE DATE for Sunday, February 26th. In the meantime, get in here and catch up on the movies everyone is talking about. It's a slate of holdovers for the coming weekend, with some special screenings thrown in for good measure:

Our friends at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology need your help. THIS Thursday, February 2nd at 7:00 pm, they're holding a special free screening of a work-in-progress documentary, Bird of Prey. The filmmakers at the lab are looking for constructive feedback and are willing to give you free popcorn for your opinion!
Only the first 50 people to RSVP will be admitted, so send yours to klr228@cornell.edu right away.

Join us for two special Ithaca Premiere screenings of the latest ground-breaking documentary from our friends at Photosynthesis Productions
RE:Thinking shows the powerful positive change that occurs when teachers and students are empowered to build knowledge instead of memorize information. Following the work of cognitive scientists Drs. Derek and Laura Cabrera, RE:Thinking takes a systems thinking approach both to exploring the very purpose of education and in imagining what is needed to prepare young people for an uncertain world.

BOTH screenings will be followed by a Q & A with filmmakers Deborah Hoard and Rachel Ferro, along with members of the cast.
In an effort to reduce our long lines, next week's schedule has been adjusted a bit. Please read the coming week's showtimes for Manchester by the Sea and Moonlight carefully, as they're slightly different from the week that ends THIS Thursday, February 2nd.
 See you at the movies!
