Greetings Cinemapolitans!

In addition to four new films, this weekend brings another special filmmaker appearance. On Sunday, May 15 at 4 pm, Story House Ithaca comes to Cinemapolis to present a special one-day only screening of the award-winning exploration of America's mental health crisis, Bedlam.

Co-writer and co-producer Peter Miller will present the film, take questions, and examine the role of storytelling in sparking change. This free film screening is part of Story House Ithaca’s series on Breaking Our Silence: Storytelling for Mental Health.

Meanwhile, it's another premiere weekend, so you should get in soon to catch Firebird. It has its final screenings on Thursday, May 12th!

An old-time war reporter, philosopher and writer, Bernard-Henri Lévy is sent by a group of newspapers (Paris Match, La Repubblica, The Wall Street Journal, Der Stern and others) to bear witness and report from places in the world where suffering and misery is at its peak, where wars are going on under our noses, where the world’s destiny is being determined and no one, it seems, is paying attention.
