Hi, Friend!
The Gospel is the foundation of Christian identity. Without the
Gospel, you couldn’t become born spiritually, so you’d never have access
to your Christian identity.
When Paul wrote to the Galatians, he stressed repeatedly that the
Gospel can’t be altered in any way. As soon as you add or remove
something, you no longer have a Gospel. He goes on to say that the
primary reason anyone would want to alter the Gospel would be to please
another human.
