How are you doing, Friend?
I can see and hear well for the most part. But I was wondering
recently what it must be like to be blind. What is it like to walk
across a room without being able to see?
Actually, I know first hand what this is like because I’ve bumped
into many things walking in my bedroom at night (with the lights out so I
don’t disturb my wife).
Would walking be easier if I could see a little, or not see at all?
My first thought is seeing something is better than nothing. But then I
would be more tempted to rely on my efforts. I could be so focused on
what I can see, that I’d forget to consider God.
