Subject: [Christian Concepts] What Being One Flesh Means

Hi, Friend!

In Genesis, what does God mean by the two shall became one flesh?

Some people think it means you lose your identity and form a new person together with your spouse.

If you struggle with this, I have a simple way for you to understand how to live as one flesh.

Just remember that you are on the same team. Teammates work together to achieve a common goal. You assist so you can score a goal. Every player keeps their distinct abilities and uses them for the good of the team.

To outsiders, husband and wife should look like they are playing on the same team. If so, they will see you as "one."

I write a weekly post on ChristianConcepts.com. I am focused on topics related to my more recent book and my future books. If you'd like to receive a weekly email to inspire you to pursue your life purpose, sign up at ChristianConcepts.com/subscribe.
