Buses At Chantilly, Journey Tribute Concert and Ride for the Vistas Have Been Canceled Due to the Expected Impact of Hurricane Florence

All Chantilly Farm events for the coming weekend have been officially canceled due to the expected impact of Hurricane Florence. The safety of our campers and patrons is always our top priority, so we felt it was in the best interest of all involved.

All advance tickcet buyers have been refunded and we hope to reschedule this show in the coming events season.

Please stay safe in the coming days and we appreciate your ongoing support.
Fun at the County Fair

The Floyd Livestock and County Fair drew patrons from the New River and Roanoke Valleys as well as from out of state this past weekend in a celebration of Floyd County's agricultural heritage and the beauty of our region.

"It's truly incredible to see so many come together to make this event possible," said fair coordinator, Joni Underwood. "We are so grateful for the monetary support and labor we receive from the Farm Bureau Women's Committee, Virginia Cooperative Extension, the Floyd County Board of Supervisors, Chantilly Farm and all of our local business sponsors, without them we wouldn't be able to pull it off each year."

Patrons enjoyed a variety of games run by local non-profits, live entertainment, livestock showings, agricultural demos, horseback rides, a touch-a-truck display, petting zoo, local food vendors and an impressive number of community exhibits.

Fair Seeking New Board Members

The fair is seeking new board members in order to energize efforts and grow this community-focused event. As new features of the fair are introduced, non-profit group participation and an added supply of volunteers are needed each year.
