Happy Fourth of July from All of Us at Chantilly Farm

They say a picture speaks a thousand words. We couldn't agree more. The photo above, taken at our Bluegrass Festival on Memorial Day weekend, really does say it all. As we celebrate our independence and give thanks for the many freedoms we enjoy, all of us at Chantilly Farm would like to wish you a safe and happy Fourth of July holiday. 
New Addition: 
Tiny House Now Available for Rent at Farm

The Chantilly Farm Campground has a brand new addition...an awesome tiny house that you can rent on your next visit. The house is owned by Try it Tiny and rented out through AirBnB.com. The house features a lofted, queen size bed, a convertible sofa bed, a full bathroom, kitchenette with stovetop/refrigerator, and plenty of space to hang out. Energy Fest Bigger and Better in Second Year 

Sustain Floyd and Apple Ridge Farm will present their second annual Floyd Energy Fest at Chantilly Farm on Saturday, July 14 from 10am until 5pm. Organizers say that the event will be even bigger and better this time around with even more alternative energy vendors, workshops and displays. 

Vendors will be setup both inside the barn facility as well as in the outdoor areas surrounding the barn. Workshops will take place on the rear portion of the outdoor stage.

So bring the entire family for a day of educational fun in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains! Apple Ridge Farm will be administering an amazing kids area that will feature some very unique activities for the youngsters in your group. There's also lots of room to run and play in the fields at the farm. 

Food and drink will be available throughout the event from Bootleg BBQ, Plenty and Cocoa Mia, so come hungry and support our food vendors.

Healthy Floyd Presents 5k on Morning of Energy Fair 

Those already planning to attend the Floyd Energy Fair may be interested in participating in Healthy Floyd's 5K Run/Walk that will take place at the farm the morning of July 14 preceding the Energy Fair. All proceeds benefit Healthy Floyd and the incredible work they do in our community.

Floyd Auto Fair Kicks Into Gear July 20-22 

The Floyd Auto Fair and Vintage Swap Meet, presented by Chasing SS Cars, will take over Chantilly Farm on July 20-22. In addition to a judged car show on Saturday, the event will host vintage vendors from around the mid-Atlantic featuring everything from classic parts to vintage memorabilia. 

Live music from Cadillac Ranch will take place on the Chantilly Farm stage on Saturday and food and drink will be available for purchase throughout the weekend. Dry RV and tent camping are available by calling (540)808-4984. 

Admission is $7 daily for adults on Friday and Saturday. All camping guests must pay admission to the show in addition their camping.

Excitement Builds for Second Annual Cirque du Floyd 

The second annual Cirque du Floyd is happening at Chantilly Farm on Friday and Saturday, August 17-18. That's right...the event has expanded to two days of excitement and intrigue and we're hoping you'll be making plans to join us. 

Programming on Friday will take place from 4pm until 11pm and programming on Saturday will be from noon until 11pm. We've listened to your feedback and decided to host all performances on the main stage at the event. We've lined up some of the most incredible cirque-style performers that you'll find anywhere along with a variety of unique performance artists, magicians, jugglers and more. 

Late-night live music from Get Right Band and Music Road Company will take place on the stage to close out each night.

County Fair Pageant Applications Now Open 

Registration is now open for those interested in competing in the upcoming Miss Floyd County Fair Pageant being held at The Barn at Chantilly Farm on Saturday, August 25. Most contestants are judged in three categories: interview, platform and dress. 

The Miss Floyd County Fair pageant is a preliminary event to the Miss Virginia Association of Fairs pageant held in Hot Springs, VA each January. The top winner will go on to represent Floyd County in the state pageant and will receive a $250 academic scholarship.
