Tour de Dirt at Chantilly Farm This Saturday The annual Tour de Dirt any road ride, exploring lesser known roads in Floyd County, departs from Chantilly Farm this coming Saturday morning at 8:30am.
Gravel bike, Cross bike, or Mountain bike friendly. More than 50% of this ride is on unpaved state roads. This is a ride not a race and all are welcome to participate regardless of skill level. There is on-site sign up and no entry fee, however donations will be accepted. Be at Chantilly Farm by 8am so you can sign up, sip some coffee, and snack on some baked goods. Coffee is supplied by our sponsor Red Rooster and baked goods by Grateful Bread.
There will be a few aid stations set up along the course:
Aid One: water, snacks. Sponsored by the Edgell Family
Aid Two: water, snacks, goodies Sponsored by On the Water in Floyd
Aid Three: (Full Pull Only) Way Out Cafe sponsored by Big Indian Farm. Bring cash; there will be a mini cafe with hot drinks and baked goods for sale, way out on the far point of the Full Pull route.
Aid Four: water, snacks, goodies. Sponsored by Dragondance Pottery There is no SAG for this ride, so have a back up plan in case you need to drop out. Verizon works in some parts of the course but generally cell coverage is spotty on the course.
