BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL KICKS OFF CHANTILLY FARM EVENTS SEASON MAY 26-28 

With a musical lineup that rivals any bluegrass festival in the region, the 7th Annual Chantilly Farm Bluegrass & BBQ Festival will officially kick off the outdoor events season at Chantilly Farm on May 26-28. 

This year's festival will feature a blend of progressive and traditional bluegrass artists including The Steeldrivers, Larry Sparks & The Lonesome Ramblers, Junior Sisk & Ramblers Chance, Band of Ruhks, Lonesome River Band, The Grascals, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers, Big Country Bluegrass, The Deer Creek Boys, Jeff Brown & Still Lonesome, Loose Strings Band, Bad Ridge, Mason Creek, Wound Tight, Tony & Heather Mabe, Janet Turner & Friends, The Wildmans, Gravel Road, The Comptons, Floyd Music School Students, Mike Mitchell Bluegrass Trio and the Back Porch Cloggers. 

In addition to the all-star lineup of music throughout the weekend, patrons enjoy a variety of arts and crafts vendors, children's activities, hiking and biking trails, a Saturday corn-hole tournament and lots of opportunities for jamming--so bring an instrument! 

No pets unless leashed at your campsite. Please bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Coolers are permitted, however we ask that there be no glass containers and no open display of alcohol. Parking is $3 daily and benefits our local food bank. 

CAMPING UPDATE:  RV spaces are SOLD OUT, however LOTS of tent camping remains available. 

Weekend and single day passes are available online or can be purchased through one of our local ticket outlets: Floyd Country Store, Wildwood Farms General Store or Blue Ridge Institute at Ferrum College. Kids 12 and under are free.

We're still looking for a few volunteers to help out on bluegrass festival weekend, May 26-28. Volunteers work one four hour shift and enjoy the remainder of the day for free. JASON CRABB TO HEADLINE ANNUAL GOSPEL JUBILEE AT CHANTILLY FARM ON JUNE 10 - FREE EVENT

Grammy and Dove award winner Christian artist, Jason Crabb, will headline the Annual Gospel Jubilee on Saturday, June 10 from 2pm until 8pm. Special musical guests include Eddie & Sherry Richards, Tony & Heather Mabe and Chuck Compton. 

Best of all, this year's Jubilee is completely free thanks to incredible generosity of the congregation at Slate Mountain Presbyterian Church who are sponsoring the event this year. 

Food and drink will be available throughout the day and guests are asked to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating in the venue's beautiful outdoor amphitheater. There's lots of room for the kids to roam and play, so bring the entire family for a day of award-winning music and fellowship in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains! FREE BARN DANCE ON JUNE 9 TO CELEBRATE THE CROOKED ROAD'S MOUNTAINS OF MUSIC HOMECOMING 

Each summer tourists from around the world embark upon Southwest Virginia to celebrate The Crooked Road's Mountains of Music Homecoming which features more than one hundred special events, concerts and cultural experiences. 

Chantilly Farm is an official affiliate venue of The Crooked Road and will host a free barn dance on Friday, June 9 from 7pm until 9pm in The Barn at Chantilly Farm.

This year's event will feature the incredible musical talents of The Wildmans. Participants will have the opportunity to dance alongside Floyd County's own, Back Porch Cloggers. So even if you don't know how to dance, they'll be on-site to lend a helping hand and it will definitely be a blast.

AMATEUR RADIO FIELD DAY COMING TO CHANTILLY FARM JUNE 24-25

ARRL Field Day is the most popular on-the-air amateur radio event held annually in the US and Canada. On the fourth weekend of June, more than 35,000 radio amateurs gather with their clubs, groups or simply with friends to operate from remote locations.

Chantilly Farm has an amateur radio station located in our campground office and welcomes anyone with an interest in amateur radio to attend this year's Field Day. Camping packages are available now at www.chantillyfarm.com 
SUSTAIN FLOYD AND APPLE RIDGE FARM PRESENT FLOYD ENERGY FAIR ON JULY 15

Two Floyd County non-profit organizations, Sustain Floyd and Apple Ridge Farm, are hoping to excite both adults and children with fascinating exhibits and fun at the Floyd Energy Fair at Chantilly Farm on Saturday, July 15.

The Fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. will be interactive and informative. Apple Ridge Farm, which offers educational experiences to underserved families and children, is working with SustainFloyd to present information on off-grid classrooms; solar homes, energy conservation and efficiency, electric cars, renewable power including wind and solar, sustainable agriculture and forestry, green products, weatherization, energy auditing and much more.

The event at Chantilly Farm will be held rain or shine. Admission will be $5.00 per family and $3.00 for individuals and tickets will be sold at the door.
