Dear Friend,

Next week, our Emergency Assistance, Shared Resistance campaign turns to one of the movement's greatest strengths: the women helping sustain, protect, and strengthen our movement.

Throughout history, women have often stood at the intersection of violence and hope — among the first to bear the costs of conflict, and among the first to organize communities, protect one another, and build the foundations for lasting change.

Across Palestine and Israel, the women of Combatants for Peace are advancing that collective legacy by protecting vulnerable communities, mentoring the next generation, strengthening nonviolent resistance, and creating spaces where shared humanity can grow.

As part of our campaign's third initiative, STRENGTHEN WOMEN LEADERS, we invite you to join us on Wednesday for a special CollectiveED conversation, organized with the American Friends of CfP.

We will hear from:

Hanadi Hussin Sayed, a Palestinian activist, researcher, author, and gender specialist whose work focuses on women’s empowerment, displacement, and the experiences of women living through and beyond conflict.
Tova Kahan, an Israeli activist and Protective Presence Consortium project manager working alongside Palestinian villages under threat while helping strengthen community resilience and joint action.
Dr. Gail Bradbrook, co-founder of Extinction Rebellion and an internationally recognized organizer who has inspired movements for climate justice, systems change, and grassroots action across the globe.
The discussion will be moderated by Tiffany Goodwin-Van Camp, Executive Director of American Friends of Combatants for Peace.
