| As the year draws to a close, we admit to feeling a sense of heaviness and sadness. There is still no ceasefire or political solution to end the war, a humanitarian crisis in Gaza with no respite in sight, hostages still held captive, and a continued surge in settler violence that is wreaking havoc across the occupied West Bank. There have been moments of hope within our own circles of course. Joint Palestinian-Israeli meetings in Beit Jala, many online conversations between our bi-national activists and volunteers, educational programmes designed to challenge the perception of 'the other', and new supporters joining us from across the world. We have been inspired by the many messages we receive from people sharing their own personal stories with us, their reasons for believing in our movement, and hearing about the profound impact we have on both individuals and entire communities. Despite it all, we still have hope. We still believe that there is another way, and that by staying united we can be the difference that we are all craving. So before the year ends, we invite you to join us one last time in 2024. On December 17th, join CfP Palestinian co-founder Souli Khatib, Israeli co-founder Avner Wishnitzer, Iranian-Swiss B8 of Hope founder Mehra Rimer, and AFCFP Executive Director Tiffany Goodwin-Van Camp for an important CollectiveEd event. Another Way Forward: Co-Creating Amid Catastrophe | 8pm Jerusalem | 6pm London | 1pm New York | | | By registering you will receive both a link to join the event live, and a link to the recording. This conversation will explore our interconnectedness and offer inspiration for action toward a future where all people are safe and free. Souli and Avner will share lessons from CfP over the past year on how to adapt, persevere, and remain collectively steadfast in action through adversity. Mehra, born in Iran and having emigrated to Switzerland during the Iranian Revolution, will offer her unique perspective as a global advocate and international organizer for peace and justice. Thank you for continuing to support our vision and share our belief in a different future even through these darkest of times. We hope that you will join us next week from where ever you are in the world, and know that you are amongst a unique international collective that shares your hope, grief and determination that together we will succeed.
