Subject: Watch the Joint Memorial & Nakba Ceremony

Dear Friends,

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Joint Memorial Ceremony and Joint Nakba Remembrance Ceremony. We want to thank the bereaved families who courageously shared their personal pain and mourned together with us, to the poets, musicians and singers who moved us with their performances, to representatives of organizations, production team, volunteers and guests. Without your support we couldn't have possibly hosted such special events.

We want to thank the thousands of viewers from Israel, Palestine and around the world who chose to mark these days with us. For both ceremonies we had many gathered to watch in local and international screening events, which was inspiring to witness. We are honoured to have so many supporters who donated and helped us reach 100% of our crowdfunding goal of 450,000 NIS for the Memorial Ceremony.

We hope to reach many more people and continue building our communities working towards peace. We would deeply appreciate your honest feedback about either of the ceremonies so please take a moment to fill out this short survey (translations to Hebrew, Arabic and English). Thank you in advance!

As you know, this year's joint ceremonies were particularly challenging against the background of the terrible war that continues to take a bloody toll every day. We chose to uplift the voices of those who believe in a shared humanity and an end to the violence.

For the Memorial Ceremony, we chose to focus on the stories of children - who pay the heaviest price in the war and for whom we want to provide a different future. For the Nakba Ceremony, we chose to discuss liberation and how we must liberate ourselves from the oppressive reality of the occupation and the ongoing Nakba in order to achieve a safer future for Palestinians and Israelis.

Out of the pain and difficulty we create a source of hope for peace. In the face of attempts to dehumanize each other, we adhere to humanity. Again, we thank everyone who took part in building the ceremonies, everyone who participated and everyone who donated - without you it would not have been possible.

With gratitude,
