Dear Friends of the diplomatic community,

ACRI, Looking the Occupation in the Eye, Peace Now, Yesh Din, B'Tselem, Breaking the Silence and Combatants for Peace invite members of the diplomatic community to an emergency visit to the Palestinian community of Ras al-Ain in the southern Jordan Valley this Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

Ras al-Ain, the last remaining Palestinian herding community in Area C in the southern Jordan Valley, is facing imminent forcible displacement. On December 31, 2025, settlers established a new outpost just meters from residents' homes, disconnected water and electricity infrastructure, and left families under siege. Approximately a quarter of the residents have already fled.

We invite you to see the situation firsthand. The tour will include a field visit and a meeting with residents and activists, offering a direct view of the reality on the ground.
