Subject: There is (still) another way

Dear Friends,

As our Summer Campaign comes to an end, we want to thank everyone who has stood behind our work. We have reached 90% of our goal, and we need one final push to get us there. Reaching our goal means entering the months ahead ready to respond, organise and keep our Palestinian and Israeli activists on the ground.

Your support has already allowed Palestinian and Israeli activists to keep working together through an extraordinarily difficult summer:

  1. Responding to communities under threat in Sinjil and Beit Sahour

  2. Defending Palestinian rights by supporting families like Jamil’s whose homes are threatened with demolition

  3. Strengthening women-led nonviolent resistance

  4. And continuing to build a movement capable of challenging occupation and violence.

In the coming weeks, the heat will subside, and the olive season will begin. Across the West Bank, Palestinian farmers will try to reach and harvest their land while facing the threat of settler attacks and military restrictions. Our activists will be there, accompanying families and defending their right to their land and livelihoods.

During this intense time, we will mark 20 years of Combatants for Peace. Watch the story of how our movement has grown and evolved since 2006 👇

We enter our 20th year at one of the most difficult moments in our history, but with two decades of experience showing that Palestinians and Israelis can organise together for freedom, equality and human rights.

The Summer Campaign is ending, but there is so much ahead of us. The upcoming Israeli elections could have profound consequences for Palestinian rights, the occupation, and the future of both our societies. Whatever the result, we need to be ready to respond and to challenge policies that deepen occupation and inequality, and make sure there is a strong Palestinian and Israeli movement pushing in another direction. Because there is still another way.
