What can we possibly say that hasn't been said already, and will make this desperate situation any more bearable.
This has been a dark week filled with unimaginable horrors, and scenes from a nightmare that we can't wake up from. Like you, we watch in horror as more innocent life is lost, and millions of peoples lives are changed forever.
So what are we doing in the midst of this violence? How can a joint movement like ours survive?
We focus on humanity. We see the child, not the nationality, we feel the others pain in ourselves, and we seek justice, not revenge. We collectively believe that all life is equal and together, we have been grieving, sharing our fear, our sadness, and exchanging stories of both loss and survival.
We are Israelis and Palestinians. We look the other in the eye and keep each other strong, and our heads above water when we feel the other is sinking. This is our toughest test of endurance yet, and we need your support to keep going.
Support Combatants for Peace in any way you can. Share our content, spread our message of humanity and non-violence, and remain committed to peace. We must cling on to hope, and look for the light.
