Subject: The Joint Nakba Remembrance Ceremony - Postponed

The Joint Nakba Ceremony is Postponed. A Briefing Zoom Will Be Held Instead, On Saturday, May 15th

Dear Friends,

With heavy hearts, we regret to inform you that due to the recent escalation of violence, the Joint Nakba Remembrance Ceremony will be postponed from tomorrow. We must put the safety and security of our families, friends and staff first, so we felt it was necessary to make this difficult decision. A new date for the ceremony broadcast will be announced as soon as possible.

The current situation across Palestine and Israel is unimaginable. During times like this it is so important that we keep going - doing our work and advocating for justice and peace.

We never stop our work on the ground, and through our activism we show that when we collaborate, Palestinians and Israelis together, our impact is profound.

In place of the ceremony tomorrow, we will hold a live zoom call with Aziz Abu Sarah, CfP Board Member, and Shai Goren, CfP activist, who will share their experiences and talk about what is happening here.

Join us on Saturday, May 15th, at 1:00pm ET / 6:00pm GMT by clicking this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81333603951

We wish everyone good health, peace, salaam and Eid Mubarak.
