In just one week, the 20th Israeli-Palestinian Joint Memorial Ceremony, co-hosted by Combatants for Peace and the Parents Circle – Families Forum, will take place. This powerful and courageous act of remembrance brings together people from both sides of the conflict - Palestinians and Israelis who have chosen to mourn together and to imagine a different future, rooted in dignity, justice, and shared humanity. This year, we are deeply aware of the importance of community - not only here in Israel and Palestine, but all around the world. So many of you have reached out to us over these painful months, longing to be part of the solution, and struggling with the isolation of witnessing this moment from afar. To help combat that isolation, we’ve partnered with local communities across Europe and the United States to host public screenings of the Memorial. These gatherings offer a space to come together, to grieve amongst community, and to remember that even in despair, there is hope. | | If there’s no screening in your area, you are warmly invited to join us online. Hundreds of thousands will be watching together around the world, and you can still register to be a part of our international virtual community | | This Ceremony is entirely community-funded - a living testament to people power and global solidarity. We’ve raised 90% of our goal, but we need one last collective push to get across the finish line. Every gift counts. In a time when so many feel alone in their pain, this Ceremony reminds us that we are not. Wherever you are in the world, we invite you to join us - not only to bear witness, but to be part of a growing global community that believes in peace, justice, and the power of connection.
