Subject: Join us on Wednesday: Ask anything about the Nakba

Dear Friend,

The Nakba is one of the most defining and contested moments in this region, and one that many people don’t feel they can ask about openly. We’re creating a space to change that.

Join us for “Your Questions, Unfiltered” - an open conversation where you can ask anything about the Nakba, the ceremony, and what it means today.

You might be wondering;

  • What does the Nakba mean to Palestinians today - and why does it still matter?

  • Can acknowledging the Nakba coexist with Israeli narratives and identity?

  • What does “Right of Return” actually mean in practice?

  • Is it possible to talk about the Nakba without deepening division?

  • What is the connection between the Nakba and current settler violence in the West Bank?

Or you may have questions you’ve never felt able to ask - about occupation, rights, and what is happening on the ground.

Our speakers will engage honestly and directly, not to offer easy answers, but to confront these realities and discuss what justice and accountability require.

Register below to receive joining instructions and a recording after the live event.

On May 15th, join us for the 7th Joint Nakba Remembrance Ceremony. This year’s theme, “Sumud in Humanity,” is a call to remain human in the face of ongoing violence and injustice.

At a time of devastation in Gaza and continued displacement in the West Bank, we come together to center dignity, truth, and the recognition that a just future begins with facing reality.

Live Broadcast; May 15, 2026
20:00 Jerusalem | 18:00 London | 13:00 New York

More information on the Ceremony including how to host and attend screenings can be found on our website

We hope you will join us and help bring this conversation into the open.
