Dear colleagues of the diplomatic community,
The situation in the Northern Jordan Valley continues to deteriorate, with sustained settler violence, intensified military restrictions, and increasing efforts to pressure Palestinian shepherding communities off their land. Access to grazing areas and water sources has been further restricted, and families face growing isolation from healthcare, education, and essential services. In the last week, 25 families were forcibly displaced, which increases the pressure on those who are trying to resist.
We invite you to join a field visit to the Northern Jordan Valley on Monday, 2 March. The tour will be led by our team together with a member of the Jordan Valley activists who maintain long-standing, trusted relationships with local communities. This visit offers an opportunity to meet residents directly, hear about the daily impact of these pressures, and witness the realities affecting their ability to remain on their land.

Combatants for Peace is working closely with these villages, providing accompaniment, monitoring, and practical support. At this moment, visible international engagement is one of the few sources of protection these communities have. Your presence can contribute to meaningful protection for these communities at a time of unprecedented vulnerability. I hope to see you there.
Best wishes,
Laura Morris
