‘Hope Rising’ National Conference to Proclaim Freedom from homosexuality
Hope for Wholeness to Provide SOLUTIONS to Homosexuality for Christians Seeking Answers

Exodus International may be dead, but Hope is Rising in North Carolina this week as national leaders proclaim freedom from homosexuality!

Black Mountain, North Carolina – On June 5-8, 2014, Hope for Wholeness, a new national Christian network offering solutions to individuals, families, and churches struggling with homosexuality will hold its first annual summer conference at Ridgecrest Conference Center in Black Mountain, North Carolina. Titled: “Hope Rising,” the four-day conference will feature dynamic teaching and inspiring praise and worship from some of the country’s leading Christian counselors, ministers, and experts on homosexuality.

“A new day is rising for those who wish to experience freedom from homosexuality through Jesus Christ,” commented McKrae Game, President of Hope for Wholeness. “I once was stuck in a pattern of sin and brokenness, unable to find answers to my unwanted same-sex attractions. But today, through the power of Jesus Christ, I have been renewed and walk in freedom with my wife of 18 years and two children, who are living testimonies that through God, all things are possible!”

In June 2013, the Christian community was rocked by the closing of Exodus International, the largest ministry offering assistance to Christians affected by homosexuality. But Christians like McKrae Game and others in the Hope for Wholeness network refuse to be silenced, proclaiming boldly that God DOES change lives and that Christians do not have to accept a gay identity.

“My same-sex attractions do not define me, because my identity is in Christ,” commented Game, who speaks openly about his ongoing recovery from homosexuality. “God never promised to take away our struggles, temptations, and unholy behaviors, but He did send an answer, and that is Jesus Christ. When we choose to embrace the life that Christ gave us every day, we can walk confidently knowing that there is a solution to all issues we experience, including same-sex attractions.”

The four-day event, held June 5-8, will feature well-known speakers such as Janelle Hallman, Gordon Dalbey, Jeanette Howard, Tom Cole, and Jayson Graves, as well as international worship leader and Christian song writer, Dennis Jernigan, whose new documentary film and book “Sing Over Me” will be featured in a special screening.

“Exodus International may be dead, but hope is rising in North Carolina this week! Twenty-three years ago I walked away from homosexuality, and so can you. If you or your loved one is struggling with same-sex attractions, this conference will give you hope, commented Game.
