Breaking News: Gay Activists Lose Two States in a Row as Washington State Senate Says "No" to Change Therapy Ban

Voice of the Voiceless (VoV) just got news that Washington State Senate Bill 2451, which would have banned Sexual Orientation Change Effort (SOCE) therapy for minors, was killed in committee today, making Washington the second state, after Virginia, to say “No” to gay activists who are seeking to take away the rights of clients to pursue therapy for unwanted same-sex attractions (SSA). This victory was achieved, in part, due to some great testimony from VoV Board Members Robin Goodspeed and David Pickup. VoV also commends the hard work of the Family Policy Institute of Washington, who worked tirelessly to educate members of the Senate on the destructive nature that this bill would have on children.

This afternoon, VoV President Christopher Doyle made the following statement:

"We applaud the Washington State Senate for Saying NO to SB 2451 and YES to clients' rights! Families and adolescents should have the right to seek therapy that aligns with their values without the interference of political activism and government intrusion. This marks the second loss in a row for gay activists, who also failed to convince the Virginia Legislature last month with their tall tales of "therapy torture." We now know that when ex-gays and clients who have successfully overcome unwanted SSA stand up and tell the truth about SOCE therapy, politicians will listen."

New Groundbreaking Ex-Gay Documentary to Premiere February 28 in Tulsa, OK

Sing Over Me is a new, one-and-a-half-hour documentary about award-winning singer and songwriter Dennis Jernigan and his painful journey and battle with same-sex attraction while living as a professing Christian. "It was a life," he says, "that was filled with shame." Yet, this is not a story against homosexuality. Rather, it is a story of hope, destiny and restoration.

Open Letter to Glenn Beck and Other Alleged Christian Defenders of Homosexuality

In January of this year, Glenn Beck, the conservative radio and television host, stated on his radio show that if anyone within the sound of his voice hated a gay person, they could not be a fan of his or have a friend anywhere on his show. Mr. Beck is a Christian, a Mormon, and professes to believe the Bible and follow its precepts. If that’s true, I’d like to share the following with Mr. Beck and other alleged Christian defenders of homosexuality. Read More...

New Genetic Study Repeats Old Unproven Theory

We want to jump on this new junk science article right away because we've been down the Xq28 road before and this unreleased study managed to suspiciously get a Valentine's Day news release without peer review. We've excerpted and highlighted the laughable holes for you. The attempt to pass this off as anything new or valid in a Valentine's Day news release is insipid politics.
