Are you a teenager or young adult that has gone through therapy to change unwanted same-sex attractions?
IHF is recruiting teens and young adults to participate in a study that examines the perceptions of adolescents who have undergone therapy to change unwanted same-sex attractions (SSA). The
purpose of the research is to discover the perceptions of adolescents
undergoing (or those who have undergone) therapy to change same-sex
desires and behaviors, as well as
understand some of the possible influences (e.g. wellbeing; harm) it may
have (or not have) on youth that participate in therapy. Participants must have began
therapy before the age of 18. For more information, please e-mail
principal investigator, Christopher Doyle, LCPC at: IHFinfo@ComingOutLoved.com

Key to Your Child's Heart Weekend for Mothers
September 18-20, 2015 Hagerstown, Maryland
The weekend is designed for mothers of a
same-sex attracted or gay-identified child. The goal is for each mother
to grow personally and as a Parent/Coach, to learn how to better love
and understand your struggling child, and to uncover how your own
unresolved issues may be blocking your family’s path to healing.

Testimonial from a Mother:
I've had decades of
personal therapy, but nothing ever like this. The concept of heal the parent; heal the child makes great sense. Hilde and Chris are gifted teachers,
compassionate, extremely knowledgeable, and loving. I’m leaving
emotionally exhausted, yet filled with hope like never before. If you have a child with SSA, this is where
the healing starts! |
