New blog posts from the Gesar archives

Over thirty years ago, a special TSK edition of Gesar was published by Nyingma Centers, with anonymous contributions from members of the Nyingma community at that time. After discovering these hidden gems, CCI is releasing a selection of these reflections as blog posts on our website.

CCI Staff Member Gives Workshop for Teachers

Patrícia Nascimento, PhD, a member of our staff, recently conducted a workshop called “Attention, Questioning Mind, Listening and Meta-skills for a Disconnected World” for 445 teachers in the south of Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul). This workshop is part of a very special and successful project called “We Are Together” of the Antonio Meneghetti Foundation, which is focused on supporting the development of teachers in public schools by providing humanized and continuing education. Patrícia’s workshop explored key and challenging topics for teachers’ human development.

PatrĂcia was also invited to teach a course on such human skills in a new and innovative post-graduate program that the Faculdade Antonio Meneghetti just created in the field of Pedagogy: "Ontopsychological Pedagogy: Innovation in Human Skills."

Additionally, in the next months, PatrĂcia will teach courses on Questioning Mind for low-income youth, and for students in an MBA program at USP (University of Sao Paulo). She has been dedicated to researching and teaching Questioning Mind and other foundational human meta-skills for our perception, sense-making, human connection, communication, awareness, and a more genuine experiencing of ourselves, others and the world (e.g., listening, observing, seeing). For more information, visit the Questioning Mind website at https://www.questioningmind.com.br or @questioningmind_metaskills on Instagram.

Healing Time, led by Jack Petranker

We live on the surface of time, moving from moment to moment without ever really connecting with time’s inner dynamic. Cut off from the depth of experience, we easily feel frustrated, isolated, emotional, and resentful.

It doesn’t have to be that way. We can heal our connection to time, and discover that time is the beating heart of experience. It’s like finding our way back from exile, like coming home. New ways of knowing and being become available, and we move naturally toward joy and inner peace.
