Subject: LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER: Time of our Lives

A one day workshop in Berkeley with Jack Petranker

The Time of our Lives

Time as we experience it is completely different from the linear past-present-future structure we impose on it. When we reconnect with the inner dynamic of time, our lives become rich in meaning and appreciation.

In this workshop, we will explore in our own experience what it means to live in the heart of time, a key theme in developing full presence mindfulness. Sessions will mix practices with discussion, harnessing the power of creative inquiry. The approach grows out of non-Buddhist writings of Tibetan lama Tarthang Tulku.

Join us for this 1-day workshop exploring the vision and practice of Full Presence Mindfulness. This course is appropriate for both beginners and experienced practitioners.

Seeing Clearly

Introduction to Full Presence mindfulness (FPM)

Uncover hidden dimensions in your daily life through the practice of Full Presence mindfulness. By decentering ourselves and tuning into the full expanse of the field of experience, we can unlock hidden potential in our daily lives. The course introduces foundational grounding practices while also inviting students to tune into dynamics that are usually overlooked in experience, including our senses and our lived stories. Being fully present helps us gain clarity on the feelings and intentions that pervade ordinary experience.

This course incorporates theory and practice in roughly equal parts. Beginners are welcome and encouraged to sign up; experienced practitioners seeking a supportive practice environment and community are also encouraged to sign up.
