Subject: Year End Giving - Help us jump start our 10th Anniversary Year!

Merry Christmas to one and all!

The Steubenville Nutcracker Village has been enjoying a flurry of national (and International) press in the last week!

We were featured as a "Merriest Main Street" on the TODAY Show and, that very same day, got an "in-print" and "online" feature in PEOPLE Magazine ("Things that Make You Smile"). In addition, The Washington Post ran a feature last Monday, as well as The London Times and Global News (Vancouver, Canada). As an added surprise, The Steubenville Nutcracker Village was featured this past Saturday on NPR's Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me!

When we started the Nutcracker Village 9 years ago, we always had hopes that it would breath life back into a mostly abandoned downtown and it feels like those dreams are coming true! We've seen a huge increase in numbers thanks to this amazing press!

We're heading into our 10th Year and have BIG plans to keep building the magical tradition which we've started. With over 3000 man hours going into planning, mending/repairing the 200+ nutcrackers, creating new nutcrackers and building infrastructure, it's become clear that we can no longer produce the event on a volunteer basis, but need to create a full time position to ensure continued growth and success which will keep revitalizing our little downtown.

To that end, would you consider GIVING to our 501c3 (Steubenville Cultural Trust) for your Year End Giving? We believe in strength in numbers so no amount is too little.

Brodie Stutzman (the Nutcracker Carver) and Therese Nelson Fedoryka (the nutcracker painter and event organizer) are growing their own individual families now, and with 5 kids between them, the future of this event depends on a dedicated position.

If you've experienced The Steubenville Nutcracker Village as a blessing in your life, please consider GIVING HERE.  We have so many plans in the works for Year 10 and can't wait to share those with you!

Thanks for you consideration and support!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from The Nelsons and Steubenville Nutcracker Village!
