St. Patrick's Feast Day

Around the age of sixteen, St. Patrick was captured by Irish pirates and taken to Ireland as a slave. He was held prisoner for many years, where his faith in the Lord's mercy was tested, and strengthened.

Shortly after escaping back home to his family, St. Patrick had a vision of an Irishman who gave him a message saying: "We appeal to you, holy servant boy, to come and walk among us."
