Space offers a huge breadth of positions within the European space
sector: from Design Engineer, Technician or Software Engineer, to
Systems or Product Assurance Engineer. Our employees are involved in all
phases of space missions and we also have great opportunities in
non-technical fields like Communications, Education, Finance or Project
Management. |
| | Who would you work for? We are successful in placing young and experienced professionals at ESA and at our many other customers such as Airbus Defence & Space, Ariane Group, EUMETSAT and DLR GfR.
How? We support you in presenting yourself in the best way possible for a suitable position. We guide you through the recruitment process, help you to prepare for an interview and, if you are successful, our HR team will make the transfer to your new job as smooth as possible!
What should you think about when applying for a role? First of all be critical of your CV before submitting. Make sure you highlighted all relevant skills and experience for the role. It’s beneficial to create a skills matrix for yourself. How you do it? You take all requirements one by one from the job description and describe how and why you meet that criterion. It can be due to your education, the project you worked on, or a training you did. It can all be highlighted in the CV (preferable), or some might fit better in the Motivation Letter.

Giving back to society is something that is not only theory but is put
into practice at HE Space. This year our office team in Noordwijk supported NL
Doet for the 5th time. NL Doet is a social initiative which gathers volunteers
to support schools, elderly homes and many other institutions. Even the King
and Queen of the Netherlands participate. This year our team renovated the
garden of a home for the elderly suffering from dementia in Wassenaar. If you
would like to see us in action, just go to youtube. |

Revolutionary Aerospace Women
|
|
Diversity was the
theme of the Revolutionary Aerospace Women event held on 19 March at the
Aerospace Faculty in Delft. This special day, organised to bring students,
young professionals and professionals together to share experiences was held
for the 6th time and was now opened up to male students as well.
Over
the years HE Space has supported this event and has now seen it grow to over
100 participants. The participants enjoyed the programme that consisted of two
presentations, two workshops and for the first time a panel discussion, which
got quite heated! |
