The year in numbers

3,000

Over three thousand participants across 61 online events.

+40%

Forty percent growth in our membership numbers over 2020, taking membership to over 270 members from 195 only a year ago.

50

Fifty active People Powered Retrofit projects. Our home retrofit service has exploded, with new staff and record numbers of projects.

Despite the disruption which everyone has experienced this year our team, working closely with members has been able to achieve a huge amount. Carbon Co-op has grown significantly

to 19 members of staff despite the hurdles of remote working to successfully lead new projects to decarbonise our homes.

In 2021, we can already see that it is going to be a very busy year. Some of the upcoming highlights and events we can see on the horizon include a new Google Foundations funded citizen-led energy project, Oldham Energy Futures, underway in Oldham, a new stage in the PowerShaper project to reach more people than ever before and continued improvements for our members.
