2021 Ashden Award Nominees 🏆

Hi Friend,

We are only a couple of weeks away from our AGM on the 13th of May. Our second 'virtual AGM', this past year has been a huge learning curve in hosting online events, with our membership growing by 35% and currently at 299 members we have hosted more than 3,000 participants in events across the year and hope to have learnt something. Despite an undoubtedly difficult year we have a lot to celebrate!

We have an exciting time period coming up, with more online events, and new Carbon Co-op services on the horizon. You will have to keep up with our newsletters and other channels to learn more!

Our work as a 'climate pioneer' continues to gain recognition as we have been longlisted for the 2021 Ashden Award for our work on People Powered Retrofit, and we hope to make it through to the next round.

We are delighted to have been longlisted for the Green Skills award at the Ashden Awards 2021 as a 'Climate Pioneer' for our work on People Powered Retrofit.

We face a huge task in retrofitting our homes to tackle climate change - and skilling up the supply chain is a key challenge.

Our work in the last year has included delivering structured training, specialised CPD, and bespoke sessions related to the PAS2035 retrofit standard. We look forward to working with GMCA to expand our services in the coming year!
