Subject: Membership Survey 2022, Track your impact, and Power In The City Episode 2! 📈

Hi Friend,

This month, as we reach the end of the year our focus is on hearing from you, our members. Today, we are launching our 2022 Membership Survey, collecting your input on our work and activities. We hope that this feedback will be used in our soon-to-be-announced Annual General Meeting, which will be taking place early next year.

We are also re-launching our Impact Tracker tool, after so many of you filled it out last year we have created a baseline of members' domestic carbon intensity, and now as we end another year we want to track our progress and give new members the opportunity to take part. Whilst this is something we are promoting on an annual basis you can take it at any point throughout the year, and it is open to non-members as well - maybe something to share with your friends and family over the Christmas period?

Our next email will be coming before Christmas, and will include some updates about our successes and achievements over the past year, so make sure to keep an eye out for that.

Carbon Co-op Membership Survey

Today we are launching our 2022 Carbon Co-op Membership Survey. We will be collecting your input over the next month in order to feed into our soon-to-be-announced Annual General Meeting.

Carbon Co-op is led by you, our membership, and your feedback, views and opinions are vital to everything we do. We hope that this survey will help us to ensure we are meeting your needs and working towards our objectives in line with your views.

We are also keen to find new ways to improve your membership experience, so make sure to fill in the survey now!

Track your impact in 2022

Last year we launched our impact tracker survey. We had an amazing response from all of you, helping to measure the impact that Carbon Co-op members and supporters have had on our domestic carbon emissions, but now we want to go one step further. By tracking your impact, we can better understand how Carbon Co-op members are addressing the carbon intensity of their homes.

Power in the City Episode 2: Feeling Climate Change

The second episode of our new podcast Power In The City was published yesterday!

So climate change is something that we obviously all know about, but it also is such a big and wicked problem, it can be hard to grasp and quite difficult to talk about. Join us for episode 2 as we try to understand climate change with our ears, guts and hearts. Featuring the sound of climate change, spoken word poetry, the concept of climate justice, chilli plants, a cycling imam and strangely a lot of hope.

Do you want to join in the conversation? This week's question is: How does climate change feel to you? We will share in one of the upcoming episodes.

Power in the City is our new podcast about all the low carbon things we already do in our communities – knowingly or not. We talk about walking, the sun and the wind, how to make our homes more cosy, about good local work and the benefits of doing things together. The first season has five episodes and takes place in Oldham.
